snoopy.jpeg

Snoopy

Chihuahua, 1 years, Male

This handsome boy just turned one. He’s sweet, cuddly, and loves everyone he meets. He’s been living with dogs from 115lbs. to 14lbs. He weighs 10lbs. He loves everyone he meets, all dogs, and I’m pretty sure he’d love cats too. He’s very playful - he loves to chase a ball and play tug o war. He’s housebroken, crate trained and loves walks. He’s very loving - he wants to curl up on your lap and lean in. He was bought as a puppy and was a cherished pet of an older woman who is beginning to get dementia. I was hoping we could be his new family but my German Shepherd dog is too rough with him. He’s a wonderful, happy guy and deserves only the best home.

trixie.png

Trixie

Mix, 7 years, Female

Trixie is a wonderful dog who is great with kids and other animals, however, she has been known to dislike being around other dogs. She currently lives on a small one acre plot with my family and the different fowl we keep. She has a very playful personality and is not a big barker. She is spayed with up to date immunizations. Microchip is present. Trixie loves the outdoors but is just as quick to jump in the car for a ride. She is not a very picky eater and loves to get treats with her pets. She would be an awesome family dog or for someone who is looking for a sweet and laid-back pup. Due to our lease being up at our current residence, we unfortunately have to re-home her since the apartment we were able to secure is not dog friendly.

kuppa.jpeg

Kupaa

Lab/Rottweiler Mix, 5 months, Female

Kupaa is a beautiful, affectionate puppy with a big heart and an even bigger spirit. She’s a 50% Rottweiler and 50% Golden Retriever mix, bringing together the loyalty of a Rottie and the gentleness of a Golden. She’s 5 month old, playful, smart, and eager to learn. Kupaa loves to play, explore, and snuggle up once she’s had her fun. She’s full of puppy energy but also has a sweet, loving temperament that shines through in everything she does. With the right family, she’s going to grow into a devoted, joyful companion. Sadly, I’ve discovered a severe dog allergy that’s made it impossible for me to give her the healthy, safe environment she deserves. This decision to rehome her comes from love and responsibility — I want her to have the best possible life. Kupaa is: Healthy and up to date on all vaccinations. Great with people (and ready to socialize more as she grows) Playful, curious, and ready to train

Hairy Pawter

Kitten, 8 weeks, Male

Meet the magical HAIRY PAWTER, an 8-week old orphaned kitten who was rescued from under a shed on a dark and stormy night. This brave little fella has bright golden eyes, soft silky fur, and a tubby little belly that just begs to be tickled. Hairy loves to frolic about the house, scuffling with socks and tussling with toys. After a fun game of quidditch (attacking your broom!), this cuddler will want to nuzzle up to you, tuck himself under your neck then fall asleep. Purr, purr, purr...Before you can say, “Expelliarmus!”, Hairy will cast a spell on you that will have you wrapped around his tiny paw! Give this wee orphan a warm home with your loving family, and I promise HAIRY PAWTER will bring magic to your life — as well as a bit of mischief! "I solemnly swear to make trouble," says Hairy!

peach.jpeg

Peach

Chihuahua Mix, 8-10 years, Female

Peach is a mellow, sun-loving couch potato who’s happiest when she’s napping in a warm patch of sunlight. She’s incredibly food motivated—not because we’ve trained her with treats, but simply because she just really loves to eat! We’ve had Peach since 2020, and she’s been a sweet and quirky part of our lives. Peach has a few medical conditions, including an enlarged heart and tracheal issues that impact her breathing. These require specialized and expensive medical care, which we’re sadly no longer able to provide. This has led us to the very difficult decision to rehome her, in hopes she can receive the treatment and support she deserves. It’s also worth noting that Peach does sometimes have accidents and pees on the couch. We want to be fully transparent so she can find a home that understands her needs and can care for her patiently and compassionately.

Paul's Cat - Bubble2.jpg

Bubble

Cat, 5 years, Female

Hi, my name is Bubble. My current owner has had some serious health issues and has entered assisted living. Unfortunately, that means he cannot take me with him, so I am looking for a new home. I am a 5 year old spayed and microchipped female cat. I recently saw my vet and received a clean bill of health as well as updated vaccines. I am a friendly and curious cat. I love pets and all the attention you can give. I love to play, both with toys, chasers and with my sibling, Squeak. I would be a good cat for your family if you want a cat who will be with you whenever you need a good dose of cat play and loving. My sibling, Squeak is also up for adoption (we are a bonded pair) and I would LOVE to be adopted together with her if at all possible. I hope you will give me serious consideration as an addition to your family.

Cat, 9 years, Female

Molly is a short hair Tuxedo Female. She is fully update on all her vet requirements. She needs a home with a person to give her lots of attention and no dog in house. She has gotten use to our sons cat who visited for a short time so I think she would do ok with a calm cat already in the house.

frankie.jpeg

Frankie

Hound Mix, 3 months, Female

Frankie is a very sweet and affectionate puppy. She loves to play, cuddle, and explore. She came from a litter with a brother and had good experiences being around him, and she is very friendly to new people. She is quickly learning simple commands like sit and stay, and has been very good about signaling needing potty time vocally or by waiting by the door. She is doing well on a leash, but loves to stop and sniff. She still has her puppy energy, but sleeps well through the night and naps during the day after playtime. Frankie needs a home where she can receive the necessary training and attention she deserves, we do not believe she has any serious behavioral issues, she is just still learning the ropes. Unfortunately our schedules and living situation do not allow us to give her right environment right now. She is a good dog, and is clearly full of love, and we hate to have to let her go, but we know that is what is best for her in the long run and she’d be a loving family addition.

Baz and Luna

Cats, 3 years, Male & Female

We are a pair of siblings, brother and sister from the same litter. We are 3 years old. We are fully up to date with all of our vaccinations and vet visits. Baz is all black, and bigger than Luna. Luna is black with patches of white on her chest and toes. We are very loving, and very silly. We love chasing our toy mice, playing with bottle caps, and strings. We love to snuggle at night. We like kids as long as they are old enough to know how to pet us gently and play nice. We also can tolerate other pets as long as they like us too. We thrive when we are given lots of love, and play time.

Lewis & Clark

Cats, 6 years, Male

We have 2 beautiful and calm twin cats to re-home. My parents got these 2 brothers in 2019. They have been well loved and taken care off. Their loving owner passed recently and we need to find a new loving home. They have been indoor cats but I think they could adjust to being indoor-outdoor cats. One is a bit more shy than the other. They are happiest sitting with their owners or looking out the window. They are up to date on vaccines and there are no known medical issues.

luna (2).jpg

Luna

Cat, 8 years, Female

Some cats simply exist in a home. Luna, however, illuminates one. With her sleek brown coat that gleams like dark cocoa and eyes that seem to hold the entire night sky, Luna isn’t just a cat — she’s a presence. The kind that settles beside you on the couch, quietly radiating calm like she’s the CEO of serenity herself. She doesn’t need to meow for attention; her energy says it all: “I’m here. You’re safe. Life’s good.”But don’t mistake her quiet confidence for aloofness — Luna loves her people deeply. She’ll follow you from room to room, not to intrude, but to supervise. Folding laundry? She’ll perch elegantly nearby, ensuring you’re doing it right. Reading a book? Expect her to curl up just close enough to rest her paw against your arm. She’s affectionate in the most refined way — never needy, never dramatic, always present. Luna’s story began in a way that only makes her more special. As a tiny kitten, she was found hiding in a car engine on a freezing winter morning — a little soot-covered survivor with the heart of a lioness. Later, as if to prove her sense of humor, she managed to sneak into the refrigerator during her kittenhood (don’t worry, she was rescued moments later). You could say Luna has been on a lifelong mission to explore cozy, temperature-controlled spaces — preferably ones with snacks. Now eight years old and wonderfully wise, Luna has outgrown her thrill-seeking days. What she wants most is peace — a calm home where she can bask in a sunny window, nap on her favorite perch, and enjoy life as the adored queen of her domain. She’s lived with other pets before, but she’s made it clear she’d prefer to be the one and only. No cats, no dogs — just her humans, her sunbeam, and her dignity intact. We love her dearly and we have given Luna a beautiful life, but with multiple pets in the home, Luna’s happiness has quietly faded beneath the stress of sharing her space. We've made the loving, selfless and difficult decision to help her find the serenity she deserves — a soft, safe, single-pet home where she can truly thrive. Luna comes with everything she needs to settle right in — her cat tree, favorite window seat, scratching post, and even a self-cleaning litter box (yes, this lady travels with luxury). But most importantly, she comes with a heart that loves deeply once she trusts you. If you’re the kind of person who appreciates a loyal companion who doesn’t just fill your home but grounds it — Luna might be your soulmate in feline form. She’s independent but affectionate, mysterious yet deeply loving, and her quiet companionship will wrap around your heart like a warm blanket on a cold night.

MamaBoots.jpg

Mama Boots

Cat, 7-8 years, Female

Mama Boots is a gentle, somewhat shy but loving kitty. She’s got very soft calico fur with white paws (boots), and loves a good scratch under the chin. She’s comfortable around dogs and other cats. Unfortunately, her human companion passed away, and she needs a new home - we can't take any more pets in our household. She would do well in a household with people who are calm and willing to give her some attention. Mama Boots arrived in my sister's garage in 2019 with 4 young kittens. One of the kittens (Moostachi) stayed with the household and is now a fully grown cat.

PK_Porch Kitty.jpg

PK

Cat, 5 years, Female

PK (short for porch kitty) showed up on the porch one day, invited herself in, and never left. Unfortunately, her human companion passed away, and she needs a new home. She’s a beautiful gray and white kitty who likes to be outside, but also needs her human pats and cuddles. She is currently in a house with two other indoor cats and a small dog. She is a healthy, vaccinated cat - no medical issues that we know of. She’s very shy of strangers, but readily warms up to regular visitors. She would do well in a variety of social settings so long as she can go outdoors.

Moustachi

Cat, 6 years, Female

Moostachi is a soft gray cat with white markings, including two on her nose that make her look like she has a mustache (hence the name). She lives in a house with two other cats and a dog. She is extremely shy of strangers. She had a human companion who could get her to come out for attention. Unfortunately, her human companion passed away, and she needs a new home. She is a healthy, vaccinated cat - no medical issues that we know of. She would be too skittish to be a companion for young children, but she is not aggressive and has never scratched anyone. She needs a house with a comfortable refuge for whenever others are around. The perfect home for her would be a quiet household with people interested in cultivating Moostachi's friendship.

Bean

Cat, 4 months, Male

I adopted Bean after fostering him and his littermate for a month. He was adopted from OCAS and has been great with other cats and dogs. A month after adopting Bean, my mom was diagnosed with cancer, and I have to financially support my family with any means I can. That unfortunately means I have to find Bean and his sister Fig a new home. Fig and Bean would love to stay together but they would also do great on their own or with other animals in the home!

Ruger

Border Collie, 6 years, Male

Hello, meet Ruger! He is a 6yr old Bordie Collie, fixed. His birthday is May 31st 2019. He is full bred with papers. He is large for a bordie collie, 80lbs. He's loving and fluffy. His favorite games are tug of war and chase. He does not like to jump, he likes to dig but only will do so if you direct him to. (When we lived in pa i would let him destroy snowmen once they started to melt. I let him help dig my garden till i realized he then would try to dig the plants up after i planted them so I didn't let him help me anymore.) He is used to rough play by me and my 4yr old son. Hes house trained. He knows sit, stay(for short periods of time), paw, down, out (if you want him to leave a room), enough (to stop barking at a sound outside the door, although this is new and he's still stubborn on it), off (for getting off furniture), spin and rollover (will only do it if outside and he knows theres enough room). He stays in the yard as long as you have eyes on him otherwise needs a chain because he wanders. He's not destructive unless he feels overly anxious in a new place, he does well kept to a bedroom, free to roam while we were at work, or out. In a new place I'd recommend a crate until he's settled in. We are getting rid of him due to changes in work schedules, not having family near by to watch him, and cost of living renting with a pet (we used to live in a house and didn't anticipate this change). I would love for him to go to a good loving home. He's scared of strangers but warms up quick to dog people. He has never bit anyone and if had the chance he would run up to a stranger and bark at them, so hes not dangerous just needs exposure and worked with strangers. He warms up much faster to women and people he meets outside his territory. He's scared of children unless he's used to them. We've had him before my son was born and he's done absolutely great with him no issues, my son is 4 now. Hes not scared of my nephews as he' knows them, however, since he doesn't see them all the time, gets over excited. He wants to herd them and gets overly excited and has nipped them before (never done this with my son though). Hell bark at and is scared of cats, but would probably warm up to one fine. He loves other dogs. He's not food aggressive, he's passive to other dogs. He would come with toys, a dog bed, a new bag of dog food, and some other dog items. He likes to be brushed and although he gets nervous, he will let you clip his nails. He's good in a bath too. He's out of date on his shots so would need a vet visit.

Cat

Cat, 1 year, Male

This cat is a neutered sweet, curious orange kitty under a year old and has vet records of rabies shot, plus is chipped but the chip is not registered yet. He’s playful, affectionate, and loves attention. He enjoys interactive play like chasing toys and gentle play-fighting. He’s litter box trained, doesn’t scratch furniture, I have leather couches and glass decorations and he’s never broken or scratched a thing and has a big personality if I had more time, I’d make funny videos of him because he’s so goofy. He’d thrive as part of a bigger community whether it be cats, dogs, children. no single people or elderly cats that cannot tolerate his energy.Ive been fostering him for 4 months but unfortunately, I don’t have any more time, even still I’d always be to take him back if it does not work out.  Located in Durham.
