Jake 5.jpg

Jake

Cat, 10 years, Male

Jake is a 12lb very friendly indoor cat and enjoys being petted. When he lays in your lap, bed, etc he loves affection and his belly rubbed. I have a disability and with 2 other cats and a dog, so its become too expensive and hard to handle for me. He ignores my dog, litter box trained, micro chipped and up-to-date with all his shots. He has asthma and hopefully it's only because I live in the country with a lot of trees and pollen around me. He is not a picky eater at all, so maintaining his weight is important. When necessary and at is worse, I have to give him Futicasone and/or Albuterol using an inhaler.

Blueberry and Tofu

Cats, 1 year, Male

I found Blueberry and Tofu a little over a year ago. I took them in not knowing I am allergic. They are very sweet and loving cats. Blueberry is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly and loves to cuddle. Blueberry does not meow but purrs loudly! He loves to play with toys! Tofu is more outgoing. He cuddles on his own terms and really likes to eat! They are both playful and litter box trained. They have only been indoor cats since I found them. I would really like them to stay together if possible. I have lots of accessories that can go with them!

Caspian and Lucy

Cats, 1 year, Male & Female

Lucy and Caspian are a bonded pair of indoor/outdoor kitties! They love to play outside, but are just as happy cuddling inside (usually right on top of each other). We live on a property with lots of land to explore and they can usually be found following close behind their nearest favorite human of any size. Lucy is very affectionate and loves to cuddle close by, especially under the blankets. She is 2 weeks older than Caspian and though they are not from the same litter, they bonded right away. She is a premium biscuit maker and loves any and all toy wands. Her zoomies are short lived, but so funny and always followed by snuggles. Caspian makes sure you know how happy he is by his loud purring and headbutts. He is affectionally called the noodle, because he likes to flop around as hes being held and he will often fall over when laying down for pets. He is a true orange cat with one brain cell that functions 3 days a week. They are the sweetest of siblings and lots of fun to have around! Many warm cuddles and laughs are in your future if you choose to welcome these little ones into your home!

jordan.JPG

Jordan

Border Collie Mix, 3 years, Male

Jordan is a smart, silly border collie mix. He would do best with an experienced owner. We did a behavioral assessment and he has general anxiety, fear reactivity, and needs to be sedated for vet visits. He’s great with me in the home (I don’t have any other pets and live alone). With me, he’s very affectionate and playful. He is very food motivated and enjoys training. After a long walk, he settles nicely with a bully stick or a lick mat with cheese or peanut butter. He will likely only show his sweet side to his owner or close family. He’ll never be the life of the party but he’ll be a loyal friend to the right person.

Tsuki

Cat, 7.5 years, Female

Ariel

Mix, 2 years, Female

callie.jpg

Callie

Cat, 4 years, Female

Callie is a petite calico approximately 4 years old. She is spayed, chipped and up to date on vaccines. She has been serviced at Hope Crossing Animal Hospital and her records will be available there. This is a very difficult decision but I am moving to an area which will be unsafe for her to go out doors. She comes in and eats and sleeps but really enjoys being able to outside playing the majority of the time. She stays around home on the patio chairs, etc but also enjoys exploring the woods behind our present residence. I will only rehome her to a safe and loving home. If I can't secure one for her. I will take her with me but will be forced to keep her inside 24/7 but I know her well and she will be a happier cat if she is allowed to be outside to play,!

juniper (3).jpg

Juniper

Cat, 4 years, Female

Juniper (Juni) is a very affectionate cat who loves people and loves to play. She is about 4 years old. She doesn't seem to understand social cues from other cats and as such other cats tend to hate her (which is why we are rehoming her). She is very sweet and social with people. She will greet you every day when you come home. She is a good cuddler and very emotionally supportive. She loves to play and will run and jump all over to get a toy. Her other main interest is cat food. She only eats kibble and doesn't tend to like wet cat food. Her only behavioral issue is she tries to eat plastic and any human food she can get to. She also gets the occasional late-night zoomies and is very vocal if she isn't able to cuddle with anyone at night. You are also welcome to all of her cat accessories. She loves to nap in her pictured plush whale and has a favorite bird toy.

rosie.jpg

Rosie

German Shepherd Mix, 3-4 months, Female

Rosie was rescued from a bad environment. She came to us on 11/10 very skinny and thirsty. She has responded very well and was ready to be fed, cuddled and loved. We have a 4 year old 40 pound dog, Suzy. They have started playing a little bit more every day. Rosie is pretty good about going on the potty pad and has even stated letting us know when she wants to outside. She seems to be a smart dog she has learned not to jump up and put her paws on our legs. Her mother was a small German Shepard, father unknown. At this time she weighs 10 pounds. We are an older couple and the idea of taking on a puppy is pretty much out of the question. If we were younger we would love to keep Rosie in the family. She has had no contact with a cat, but with her sweet disposition I'm sure she would be fine.

achilles.jpeg

Achilles

Cat, 3 years, Female

Her name is Achilles, shes 3 years old her birthday is 09/29/2021. she’s super sweet. She loves tall cat trees, sitting in windows and back scratches. The reason I am rehoming her is because I just don’t have the time to give her the love and attention she needs anymore. I am always working or not home I want her to go to a home that can give her the attention she wants and needs. She doesn’t have any heath conditions and she is very active except when she’s taking her daily naps. She loves the bonkers treats you can get from Walmart she goes crazy for them.

juniper and tala.jpeg

Tala & Juniper

Mixed breeds, 4 & 3 years, Female

***Tala has been adopted - Juniper is still available

Tala is a pointer mix, white with brown spot on her left eye. She’s very sweet and loving. She is 4 years old now. The second is Juniper. She a but skittish around new people and will bark but she usually warms up after seeing you for a while. She is good with Tala. She is currently 3 years old.  I don’t know how they will respond if they were separated but Tala seems fine on her own compared to Juni. They both have been exposed to cats before and don’t have issues with them. Juniper thinks cats are dogs and wish they would play with her. They’re approx 45 pounds each- they do need to lose weight. No dietary restrictions. They’ve been around other dogs and they were fine but may need intros before being left alone with other dogs. Both have been around young toddlers and were good around them. They respond to cues to get down or go somewhere else.  They’re both all up to date on their immunizations. They’re crate trained.

juno.jpeg

Juno

Cat, 3 years, Female

Juno is a very sweet, cuddly girl who loves to play and spend time with her humans. She is a domestic shorthair calico who is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccines. She was adopted at around 1.5 years old (history unknown) and is now about 3 years old. She is an indoor cat and loves looking out the window, playing with toys, sitting in her catio, following her human around, getting pets, and cuddling up for a nap. She has lived with dogs before but acts scared and timid around cats, though might be able to co-exist with another cat through proper introduction and might enjoy the company of a kitten. She is harness and carrier trained and can get stressed while traveling but holds it together well. She has never been an outdoor cat in the time that I've owned her but can spend hours in a catio. She is friendly towards strangers and loves attention. She will memorize your routine and greet you at the door when you get home from work, then ask for pets and food. Unfortunately, we moved recently and the new environment is not as accommodating for her and I have been unable to give her the time and attention she deserves. Her supplies such as litter box, feeder, toys, food, and optional furniture will be included.

pepper.jpeg

Pepper

Cat, 11 years, Female

Meet the sweet lady we've affectionately dubbed Pepper the Blepper. We brought her home from OCAS this fall and have made every effort to gradually incorporate her into the home. However, she's made it clear she wants to be an ONLY CAT. We do not know how she would fare with dogs, but think she'd do poorly. She's guarded around food after living as a stray for a while, and we worry about the insecurity other pets cause her. Pepper loves to get head pats and will curl up with you in bed for a nice snooze. After some initial timidity, she loves to play with wand teasers and nuzzle her favorite catnip toy on the ripple rug. She'll be a great desk companion for a gamer or remote worker, as she loves to sprawl out beside you on the desk and be "involved" and "helpful". Pepper was estimated by our vet to be about 10 years old. She's got signs of age, but is still active and playful after some initial shyness. As with most older cats, she has some health issues. We're asking for a higher adoption fee to be sure that the adopter is willing to do a little extra to give her the life she deserves. Pepper's medical diagnoses are: > Mild hyperthyroidism: She just tested positive for hyperthyroid and has started treatment. We use the inner ear applicator for her med compound. This runs around $30 a month. The adopter will get all of our on-hand medication, currently 80+ days at her present dose. > Food allergies: Pepper is on a hypoallergenic diet. Taking her off of this will result in painful mouth sores for her. It's important to continue using her prescription diet. Adopter will get all the food we have on hand, currently more than 3/4 of a bag of Hills Science Diet z/d dry food and some wet food cans. > Hip and back leg arthritis: No treatment for now, but be mindful that she doesn't prefer to be pet here. OCAS has scheduled an appointment for us to bring her back on Friday, 12/6. However, we would ideally love to help her transition from one home to another to avoid needing to go back to the shelter AND to ensure her diet and med regimens aren't interrupted. We have full confidence she'd do amazing in ANY petless family so long as she's treated with compassion and allowed time to come out of her shell.

meggie.JPG

Meggie

Cat, 11 years, Female

Sadly, my mother passed unexpectedly and leaves behind her beloved cat, Meggie . She is very sweet and a little timid at first. She would do best in a home that is mostly calm/quiet, as she tends to come out and be snuggly when just one on one. She is a strictly indoor cat. She would snuggle with my mom while she watched TV or slept. She is updated on all vaccines and veterinary care. Looking for a sweet home for her.

Oakley

Puggle, 6 months, Male

Oakley is a very cute Puggle puppy. We fostered him from the shelter but our busy family schedule prevents us from keeping up with his needs and giving him the attention that he deserves. We’ll be sorry to say goodbye to him but we believe there is a family out there that is better situated to caring for him!
